 Programming is a difficult task that requires the creation of new ideas, thinking, and creative skills. The study, therefore, aimed to strengthen BASIC's programming skills guide mentor students at Veritas University Abuja, Nigeria. researchers assessed students' interest in computer usage gender differences. study adopted group controls most, experimental structure. 100 200 level undergraduate are selected on well-equipped existing Computer lecturers deliberately chosen University. Two non-static classes with 50 periodically assigned Experimental (25) Control groups. treatment lasted six weeks. instruments used were descendants Undergraduate Students ’graduates towards Question nailing Usage Questionnaire Skills Performance reliable coefficient 0.78 0.88, respectively.
